What are the biggest truck shows in the US?
For aftermarket and custom trucks, the SEMA Show in Las Vegas each November is the centre of the universe (trade-only). Lone Star Throwdown in Texas is the biggest open custom-truck show, the Detroit, Chicago, New York and LA auto shows debut new trucks, and Work Truck Week and the Mid-America Trucking Show serve the work and heavy-truck world. For off-road and overland, King of the Hammers, Easter Jeep Safari and Overland Expo are the headliners.
When is Overland Expo / Easter Jeep Safari / SEMA?
These recur every year at roughly the same time: Overland Expo West is mid-May in Flagstaff, with Pacific Northwest, Mountain West and East editions through the summer and fall; Easter Jeep Safari runs the nine days around Easter in Moab; and the SEMA Show is the first week of November in Las Vegas. Exact dates shift each year — use the official link on each event for the current dates and tickets.
