Local mechanic & service directory

Find auto repair shops, tire shops and parts stores near you — with directions and phone numbers — to service, repair and outfit your truck.

Before you book

1

Confirm they do trucks

Call ahead — some shops specialise in cars or imports. Ask if they handle your make and the specific job.

2

Get it in writing

Ask for a written estimate before work starts, and whether they use OEM or aftermarket parts.

3

Check recalls first

Open safety recalls are fixed free at a dealer — don't pay an independent shop for those.

4

Read the reviews

Tap "Directions" to open the shop on the map, where you can see hours, photos and customer reviews.

Finding service — frequently asked

How do I find a good mechanic near me?

Enter your ZIP or "City, State" — or tap "Use my location" — and the directory maps nearby repair shops, tire shops and parts stores with their distance, address and phone number. Filter by the kind of service you need, then call ahead to confirm they work on trucks, get a quote, and check online reviews before you book.

Should I use a dealer or an independent shop?

For warranty work, recalls and software updates, use a franchised dealer for your brand — recalls are free there. For out-of-warranty maintenance and repairs, a good independent shop is usually cheaper and just as capable, especially for common jobs like brakes, suspension, tires and fluids. Many owners use the dealer for warranty and a trusted independent for everything else.

Where does this directory come from?

Listings come from OpenStreetMap, a free community map database, so coverage and details vary by area and some entries may be incomplete. Always confirm hours, services and pricing with the shop directly, and check independent reviews before choosing where to take your truck.

What should I check before a tow or long trip?

Before towing or a long haul, have a shop check your brakes, tires (including pressure and tread), fluids, suspension and trailer wiring. Make sure there are no open safety recalls first with our Recall Checker, and set your tire pressure to the load with our Tire Pressure Calculator.

Shop data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Listings are community-maintained and may be incomplete — confirm hours, services and pricing with the shop, and check reviews before booking.
